The Northeastern Region proudly serves more than 165 chapters and over 6,000 alumnae, collegiate members, and affiliates throughout a diverse global footprint that spans from Maine to North Carolina and extends internationally to Bermuda, Eastern Canada, Ghana, and South Korea. United by our shared commitment to Sisterhood, Scholarship, and Service, we continue to advance the mission and legacy of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. through impactful programming, transformational leadership, and meaningful community engagement.
Since our Region's establishment in 1939, we have remained steadfast in our pursuit of excellence and our dedication to our motto, "Greater Service, Greater Progress." Today, we proudly build upon that rich foundation by embracing innovation, strengthening connections, developing future leaders, and creating opportunities that empower our members and communities to thrive.

SISTERHOOD
Sisterhood is the heartbeat of the Northeastern Region. With a dynamic network of over 6,000 alumnae and collegiate members, alongside our dedicated Philo and Rhoer affiliates, we have cultivated a sanctuary of unconditional support, lifelong friendship, and mutual empowerment.
SCHOLARSHIP
We believe that education is the ultimate catalyst for growth and social empowerment. To eliminate economic barriers to higher education, the Northeastern Region has contributed over $175,000 in scholarships since 2022. Through mentorship, academic workshops, and strategic educational partnerships, we are dedicated to supporting the next generation of thought leaders, trailblazers, and global changemakers.
SERVICE
For the Distinctly Notable Northeastern Region, service is not just an initiative it is our lifelong commitment. Since 1939, our members and affiliates have actively mobilized to turn our national motto, “Greater Service, Greater Progress,” into real-world impact. Spanning from New England down to North Carolina and stretching globally across Bermuda, Eastern Canada, Ghana, and South Korea, our 154 chapters work tirelessly to champion equity, education, and wellness.
